NOTIFICATION REGARDING COVID-19

In the light of the unprecedented situation owing to the spread of COVID-19, and to put in place preventive measures and awareness, the Higher and Technical Institute, Mizoram – HATIM’s Council Body do hereby declare and notify as under:-
1. As per the Government Notice, classes are suspended from 17th March to 31st March and the college campus will be under lockdown for the same period.
2. Residences (Hostels) must be vacated between the 17th and 18th of March 2020.
3. For parents and legal guardians, it is advised that they wear masks whence picking up their ward and restricted from entering the college premises.
4. Students belonging to states other than Mizoram may stay either in the hostel or outside the campus as per their convenience. However, they are not to leave the state.
5. Post lockdown, classes are to resume immediately along with remedial classes.
6. During the period of lockdown, the course curriculum will be continued through various internet-aided teachings as per the teacher’s convenience.
